FAQ

Where is the office?

212 North Main Street Suite 207 Sand Springs, OK 74063

You can park right out front. When you walk in the front doors – go directly up the stairs to the second floor. You’ll find Suite 207 at the end of the hall on your right. Rest and catch your breath.

How long are sessions?

Sessions are typically 50 minutes. I offer a longer session of an hour-and-a-half for those of you that want extra time to discuss your stressors and process your emotions.

How does video counseling work?

I will send you a link via email that will connect us through a HIPPA-secure (confidential) telehealth site. You will log in just before our session time, and we will connect using video. The experience will feel much like Skype or Facetime and will give you the freedom to meet without ever leaving your home.

Do you take insurance?

Most of my clients are private pay, because they enjoy the privacy and do not wish to have a mental health diagnosis attached to their medical records. Also, insurance companies like to control the length and the number of sessions they’ve decided you need.

Paying out of pocket gives you control over the number of sessions with me, length of session, your health records, and the freedom to choose the services you need.

If you choose to use your insurance, please confirm your benefits in advance. I, then, will supply a Superbill for you to use to file for reimbursement of a portion of the cost.

Insurance accepted: Blue Cross Blue Shield, Health Choice, and Community Care.

Can we talk on the phone?

Yes! Fill out the form below, and I will contact you. We can discuss our work together during your free 20-minute consultation.

When will I see a change?

After the second session, you will have more insight into yourself and tools to practice during the week. The more you apply the techniques and strategies, the more you will accelerate your healing. Getting you to a better place is my focus, and I take it seriously!

What is your experience?

I have been practicing since 2010. For the first seven years, I worked almost exclusively with children and their families in the Sand Springs and Mannford area. Over the past three years, I transitioned my work from children to adults and teens.

In early 2019, I completed my training in EMDR. I am also licensed as an LPC Supervisor to train and coach therapists just starting their career.

I am a mother to two children who taught me all the challenges and joys of being a parent.
